Hibs loan round-up: James captains Wigan, Yeats assists, cup action for majority

Most of Hibs’ loanees were in action over the weekend, and the majority were involved in cup action of some sort.

Jack Brydon - Civil Service Strollers

Jack Brydon started in defence for Gary Jardine’s side as they recorded a 1-0 Lowland League win over Gretna 2008 at Christie Gillies Park courtesy of Craig Newall’s second-half strike.

Josh Campbell – Edinburgh City

Campbell maintained his starting berth in central midfield for the Citizens, helping them to a 1-0 Betfred Cup victory over Airdrieonians at the Penny Cars Stadium.

Kevin Dabrowski – Dumbarton

The goalkeeper started in the sticks for Jim Duffy's side in their 2-0 Betfred Cup defeat to Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Jayden Fairley - Stenhousemuir

Fairley got an hour in the Betfred Cup loss at home to Livingston last week but was an unused sub for the Warriors’ 4-2 defeat at Alloa in the same competition.

Yrick Gallantes – ADT

The Azkals Development Team finished the Philippines Football League season in third place, with nine points from their five matches. Gallantes contributed a goal and an assist.

Tom James – Wigan Athletic

League One basement boys Wigan continue to struggle and after a 2-2 draw against League Two Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park, the Latics lost 3-1 on penalties in the Football League Trophy. James captained the team and scored Wigan's first penalty in the shoot-out but none of his team-mates converted and Tranmere triumphed, ending Wigan’s hopes of progressing in the competition.

Dino Leddie – FC Malaga City

Young centre-back came off the bench in Malaga City's 3-0 home win against CD Torrox.

Paddy Martin – Stenhousemuir

Goalkeeper started for Stenny in their League Cup clash at Alloa.

Fraser Murray – Dunfermline Athletic

Attacking midfielder played 67 minutes of the Pars’ 3-2 Betfred Cup win against Clyde before making way for Dom Thomas.

Innes Murray – Alloa Athletic

Midfielder played an hour of Alloa’s Betfred Cup clash with Stenhousemuir.

Callum Yeats – Stenhousemuir

Started at left-back for the Warriors in their Betfred Cup meeting with Alloa, notching the assist for Cammy Graham’s opener before being replaced with 15 minutes to go.

Connor Young – Civil Service Strollers

Young was restored to the starting line-up for the 1-0 win against Gretna 2008.
