Hibs make major change to new home kit - with nod to noughties Cup winners
Hibs have gone all green ahead of the new season – by ditching their traditional white shorts for the campaign ahead. The Easter Road club revealed details of their new home kit yesterday.
The Joma combo will see Hibs stick to tradition with the jersey, which has a green body with white sleeves, as well as standard green socks. But they’ll be harking back to the mid-2000s – and especially their 2007 League Cup win - with the green shorts, which have a white trim.

The main shirt sponsor will continue, meaning players will have whisky platform bevvy.com on the front of their jerseys. But a junior version with Utilita Energy will also be available.
The vast majority of the Hibs squad, barring a few given extra time off after summer international duty, return to East Mains for pre-season training tomorrow. The return to work marks the official start of David Gray’s reign as manager, with the interim head coach - who replaced axed boss Nick Montgomery with two games of last season remaining - recently confirmed as boss in his own right.
Gray has since assembled his backroom team, promoting Eddie May from within the existing coaching structure, while recruiting Liam Craig and Craig Samson to fill key roles. Hibs play their first pre-season friendly against Edinburgh City at Meadowbank on Saturday week.
