The Capital club have also agreed loan deals for striker Connor Young and centre-back Jack Bryden to join Lowland League side Civil Service Strollers.

Ryan Shanley, who made his first-team debut in the 3-0 win at St Mirren, and Callum Yeats both spent time at Christie Gillies Park last season and Mathie was eager to pay tribute to Strollers boss Gary Jardine for his efforts in helping develop several youngsters for Hibs.

Mathie added: “We’re delighted to have secured the loans for Connor and Jack.

“We’ve had a significant number of young players enjoy loan spells with Civil Service Strollers in the last few years and they’ve all benefited from the experience of playing in the Lowland League.
