Hide AdHibs team-mate Jamie Gullan was a key signing for Raith Rovers on loan on deadline day. He came off the bench at half-time but he was shown up by Murray.
The forward was a constant threat for the Pars throughout the first half, drifting in off the left flank.
It was in the second half where he emerged as the man of the moment.

Hide AdRaith Rovers had just netted to make it 2-1 but any hopes of a revival were quashed when he curled a fantastic free-kick up and over the wall, past the despairing dive of ex-Hearts goalkeeper Jamie MacDonald and into the back of the net via the bar.
It was a stunning strike which was added to in the 87th minute with a goal he had threatened to score all night. Moving infield from the left on to his right foot past Reghan Tumility, his shot flew past MacDonald with the aid of a deflection.
The goals took Murray to five in 17 appearances with the player benefiting from regular football at East End Park.

Hide AdPars boss and ex-Hibs striker Stevie Crawford said: “I thought it was a fantastic free kick from Fraser Murray, he scored one similar down at Kilmarnock earlier in the season.
"He has followed that up with another cutting inside on to his right foot that he did to Raith earlier in the season as well.”
