"It would be great to break my duck against them. You want to score in the big games.”
Hearts won two of the three league meetings between the two teams during the truncated 2019/20 season but the forward played down talk of a revenge mission.
Doidge added: "It’s a completely new season. I think both teams are different and we’ll go into this game like it’s a new year. We know the rivalry is there but we’ve just got to enjoy the occasion and try our hardest to come out on top.”

The 28-year-old feels the confidence among the squad can help Hibs into the final.
Doidge continued: “We’re going into games believing we’re going to win. We’re defending really well, we’re all contributing all over the pitch.
"We have to keep the momentum going.”
