Former St Johnstone winger Drey Wright is training with Hibs ahead of a potential move to the Capital club.
The 25-year-old Englishman, who left Saints after his contract expired at the end of the season, was given a tour of Hibs’ East Mains base last Wednesday and has since been involved in sessions with the current first team.

Despite Hibs admitting financial concerns on the back of the coronavirus crisis and starting a consultation period with staff and players over cutbacks, owner Ron Gordon and chief executive Leeann Dempster have both stated that head coach Jack Ross will be allowed to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2020/21 Premiership campaign beginning at the start of August.
Wright has impressed in his two years in Scotland with St Johnstone despite suffering a serious knee injury, with his former McDiarmid Park team-mate and ex-Hibs midfielder Danny Swanson revealing last week what he would bring to Easter Road.
The Londoner does have other admirers in both Scotland and England, but Hibs appear to be in pole position to land him.

The 26-year-old – who can also play at centre-half – is wanted by a host of clubs north and south of the border, while he has also received an offer from a team in the USA.
“We spoke to Alex, as a number of clubs did,” Goodwin said.
“He had a fantastic season for Hamilton last year, but even before that I felt he was always a standout for them.”
Goodwin added in the Daily Record: “Alex has offers from England and abroad and it is unlikely that one will happen now as he will probably be outwith our price bracket.”

Hibs have also offered former St Mirren midfielder Stephen McGinn use of the training facilities at East Mains. However, it is understood that no deal is on the table for the 31-year-old brother of current Hibs player Paul McGinn and that Ross is merely helping out a close friend as he looks to keep fit while looking for another club after his Paisley departure.
