Hibs to face Dundee United in Scottish Cup semi-final on return to Hampden - a repeat of 2016
Former Easter Road favourite Marvin Bartley paired his old side with Micky Mellon’s team for a place in this season’s final, and the winners will face either St Mirren or St Johnstone at the end of next month.
The semi-final tie is a repeat of the 2016 fixture where Bartley featured and Hibs won, on their way to lifting the famous trophy.

Dundee United were the only side to enter the penultimate round within regulation time when they defeated Aberdeen 3-0 on Sunday. The remaining three quarter-final ties were decided by penalty shoot-outs including Hibs’ home success over Motherwell.
St Mirren became the final team in the hat by scoring a last-minute equaliser in extra-time to force a Monday night shoot-out which they edged 5-4 to join United, St Johnstone and the Hibees.
The Perth Saints qualified for the final four with a similarly dramatic ending to their win over Rangers – with goalkeeper Zander Clark grabbing the headlines for his role in the Perth side’s success at both ends of the park in extra-time and then the shoot-out.
