Hibs to provide opposition for Iain Davidson's Raith Rovers testimonial
Hibs have added another fixture to their pre-season programme after Raith Rovers confirmed the Easter Road side will provide the opposition for Iain Davidson’s testimonial.

The long-serving defender is to be recognised with a match in his honour at Stark's Park on Friday, July 16 after making 507 appearances across two spells at his home-town club.
The game will kick-off at 7pm with further details to be confirmed by organisers in the coming weeks.

Hide AdDavidson first joined Raith in 2004 under Claude Anelka and spent eight years with the Kirkcaldy club, captaining them to the Second Division title in 2008-09, before departing for a three-year spell at Dundee in 2012.
He returned to the Fifers in 2015 and became one of only three Raith players to reach the landmark of 500 first team appearances last season.
His testimonial match is the second confirmed friendly fixture for Jack Ross’ side, with Hibs also due to play Arsenal on Tuesday, July 13 with a 6pm kick-off.
