Good save to deny Appere at 2-1 but helpless with United's goals.

Hide AdRelieved to see Marciano bail him out after he let Appere in for a second-half chance but otherwise fairly steady.
Adam Jackson - 6
Was unable to prevent Shankland getting space to unleash his thunderbolt, but generally defended well thereafter.
Paul Hanlon - 7
The defender looked assured in his individual duels and helped keep clear chances for Shankland to a minimum but will be disappointed at being part of a defence conceding another two goals.
Steven Whittaker - 8
The veteran midfielder was applauded off in the second half after a strong performance. Should have scored after creating two great chances for himself with marauding runs into the box in first half.
Joe Newell - 7

Hide AdTidy display in midfield. Unfortunate to deflect in United's equaliser. Set up all three of Doidge's goals - two of them from corners.
Martin Boyle - 6
The attacker had a quiet game by his recent standards but still chipped in with another assist by winning first-half penalty.
Scott Allan - 6
Scored first-half penalty and had some impressive flashes but wasn't at his lethal best and was subbed at 2-2 as Jack Ross looked for fresh inspiration.
Daryl Horgan - 5
Not the Irishman's most effective display. Struggled to get much joy going forward and was subbed at 2-2.
Christian Doidge - 8

Hide AdDid a lot of the ugly work in attack. Missed good first-half chance then scored an impressive second-half hat-trick - a header and two clinical strikes - all from within eight yards of the goal.
Subs:
Florian Kamberi - 6
On for closing half hour but got little chance to shine.
Fraser Murray - 6
On for Horgan on the left.
Melker Hallberg - 6
On late to shore things up.
