Ofir Marciano - 5

Fumbled a couple of crosses. Looked helpless for the goals. No saves of note.

A first-half to forget for the captain who looked off the pace defensively. Skinned for Saints' opener. Subbed at half-time.

The veteran looked shaky at times in the first half but was far more assured after the break.

Paul Hanlon - 6

Part of a defensive unit that looked vulnerable early on but generally defended soundly on an individual basis.

Lewis Stevenson - 6

Not much danger came down his side. Booked for a rash tackle late on.

Joe Newell - 6

Unable to hit the heights of his two previous outings at Easter Road. Subbed early in second half.

A typically energetic display from the Belgian without excelling. Highlight was his run and cross for Doidge's goal.

Another assist from the talismanic winger after he darted down the right to set up Allan. Saw an effort deflected wide in second half.

Scored Hibs' first and generally looked the likeliest player to make something happen for his team.

Daryl Horgan - 5

An underwhelming performance from the Irish winger. Flashed an angled shot wide from edge of box. Subbed in second half.

Christian Doidge - 7

Worked hard in attack and scored a well-executed header from six yards.

Subs:

Paul McGinn - 7

On at start of second half and enjoyed a good debut. Defended soundly and looked good on the ball. Almost scored with a header which was clawed out by Hladky.

Greg Docherty - 7

A promising debut from the midfielder. Eager to get on the ball and try and make things happen and was at the centre of most of their best play in second half.

Marc McNulty - 5

The striker was given a warm welcome on his return but barely got a kick of note as Saints' defence stood up well in closing stages.
