Injured Hibs defender Kyle McClelland back at HTC for treatment

Injured Hibs defender Kyle McClelland, out on loan at Cove Rangers this season, is hoping to return to action for the Championship club next month.

The 20-year-old centre-back, signed in the summer after his release from Rangers, is picked up an ankle injury injury in Cove’s 3-1 win over Dundee on October 5, but he is is back working with the physios at HTC and is on the road to recovery.

McClelland has made three appearances for Cove since joining the Scottish Championship club on loan in mid-September. The Northern Ireland Under-21 international made his Hibernian debut in July in a Premier Sports Cup win over Clyde, played in two further cup-ties, and earned his first Premiership appearance against Livingston from bench before joining Cove for more game time.

Left winger Dan MacKay, out on loan at Inverness, is also out with a knee problem. He has been a regular since making the switch in the summer and has contributed one goal and five assists to help Billy Dodds´ team reach the top of the table.

Runar Hauge and Steven Bradley have been helping Dundalk challenge at the top end of the League of Ireland Premier Division, which has just two games left to play. Dundalk sit third and are five points off second-placed Derry City.

Bradley has been a regular on the right wing, making 33 appearances, scoring six goals and claiming seven assists. Hauge, who joined on loan in the summer, has mainly appeared on the left wing and has made 10 appearances so far.
