Hibs manager Jack Ross has admitted that sympathy will be in short supply for rivals Hearts over possible demotion.
The Easter Road boss is, however, hopeful that the Scottish Cup semi-final clash goes ahead at some point.

Hearts are expected to be replaced by Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership next season, with a decision likely soon on the Tynecastle side’s demotion from the top flight.
Ross, who spent time at Hearts as a coach, has admitted previously that the derby fixtures would be missed, but believes sympathy won’t be forthcoming, noting it would likely be the same if the situation was reversed.
He told the Daily Record: “There have been times in recent years both clubs have found themselves outside the top division for different reasons and I don’t think either club would offer too much sympathy for the other because of the circumstances.

The 43-year-old’s focus is solely on helping Hibs grow and become even bigger.
“I don’t think you get to really know a club until you are immersed inside it,” he said. “I believe we can get far bigger. We are situated in the Scottish capital so it has enough potential to keep growing.”
