Alan Stubbs set for West Ham role as David Moyes offers former Hibs boss coaching position
Alan Stubbs has been approached by West Ham United boss David Moyes, who is keen on adding the former Celtic and Everton defender to his backroom staff at the London Stadium.

Hide AdThe former Hibs head coach, who led the Easter Road side to an historic Scottish Cup victory after 114 years in May 2016, has had spells as manager at Rotherham and St Mirren since leaving the Capital but has struggled to make the same impact.
Now Stubbs, 48, could be reunited with the man he played under for several seasons at Goodison Park.
Moyes, now in his second stint managing the Irons after steering the club to Premier League survival in May 2018, is understood to have failed in a bid to bring back former West Ham defender Stuart Pearce as his defensive coach.

Hide AdThe former Manchester City boss worked under Moyes during his previous stint but the Hammers board blocked the move over comments Pearce made aout the club in the media.
Stubbs is expected to give Moyes an answer in the coming days.
