Chris Maxwell

On-loan Preston goalkeeper is likely to continue between the sticks after making the No.1 spot his own in recent weeks.

Tom James

Jason Naismith was something of a surprise starter against Ross County but Tom James could be brought back in for the visit of Livingston.

Youngster is expected to partner Paul Hanlon at the back, and is a goal threat from set-pieces. Scored against Livingston last season in a midweek game at Easter Road.

Paul Hanlon

Captain in recent weeks owing to David Gray's injury, and is likely to keep his spot in central defence.

Lewis Stevenson

The long-serving defender has made the left-back berth his own and unless Paul Heckingbottom opts to start James on the left and Naismith on the right, should keep his spot.

Melker Hallberg

Swedish midfielder was subbed at half-time against Ross County for tactical reasons but will almost certainly start. Smacked a vicious free kick off the woodwork in the first half.

Glenn Middleton

On-loan Rangers winger hasn't seen much game time recently but could be handed a start against Livingston if Heckingbottom lines his side up in a 4-1-4-1 formation.

Scott Allan

Scored a fine goal against Ross County and will be tasked with making things happen in the final third tonight.

Stevie Mallan

Set-piece delivery is key and Mallan - able to crack in free kicks from distance and find team-mates with pinpoint corners - should continue in the starting XI.

Daryl Horgan

Benched after his Hamilton horror miss, he scored within five minutes of coming on against Ross County. A good shout for a starting place tonight.

Christian Doidge wasn't in the matchday squad for the 2-2 draw with Ross County and so the big Swiss striker is expected to continue up front. Came close against the Staggies and will want to go one better tonight.

Subs

Ofir Marciano will take a seat on the bench as back-up goalie while one of Tom James or Jason Naismith will join him alongside centre-back Adam Jackson. Fraser Murray and Oli Shaw are also likely to continue in the matchday squad. It's probably too soon for Martin Boyle to be included but Lithuanian international Vykintas Slivka could return to the squad following his return from injury. Josh Vela will be on the bench if he doesn't star while Christian Doidge could be listed among the subs as well.
