Michael Weir's Hibs wishlist for 2021 - a cup final, European football and pedigree signings
Reaching the Betfred Cup final must now be considered a necessity. We need to try to win that cup.
It won't be easy because all the other teams will be in the same situation and feeling they can win it but as favourites Hibs must seize their chance.

We need to bolster the squad and look to bring in more quality in certain areas.
I understand the Covid situation but we have to push on as a club by giving the manager the resources to go and spend.
Hibs have now got a great chance to push away from the likes of Dundee United, Motherwell and Livingston and catch Aberdeen, but we need to spend money.

When we brought Steve Archibald to the club it just changed everything. Then you look at Alex McLeish who brought in the likes of Frank Sauzee.
These are players who raise standards in the squad and lift the profile of the club.
Hibs need to go into the market and bring in players who are going to take us to the next level but that's down to the people at the top of the club.

We've got a young side that could do with one or two experienced players who have been there and done it. Players with pedigree that the young ones can work off and learn from.
We've just being happy going along as we are but a club like Hibs needs a couple of big signings that raises the standard of the club as a whole.
A couple of quality players with pedigree can give the club a real push going into the new year.
