Hide AdHibs TV pundit and former Easter Road ace Tam McManus believes the Scotland Under 21 international will be more likely to move to the English Championship and also suggested that Celtic and Rangers should consider signing the player.
Aberdeen are also reported to be interested in landing the 22-year-old on a pre-contract agreement with his current deal at Motherwell due to expire next summer, although the Fir Park side would be due a development fee of £200,000.
Posting on Twitter, McManus said: “I be stunned if Allan Campbell goes to either Hibs or Aberdeen. Think it’s nonsense paper talk. 22 and played 150 games for Motherwell. Done his time here IMO. His next move is the English Championship or a good club abroad. Very good player with a terrific attitude."

"I think Celtic (and) Rangers will both be looking at Campbell too if not they ain’t doing their job right.
“I’m not talking down anyone. They both (Hibs and Aberdeen) couldn’t afford the fee for a start. He has served his time in Scotland for me. He can go and do the same as McCarthy/McCarthur down the road he’s just as good as both of them IMO.”
