Referee confirmed for Hibs v St Johnstone Betfred Cup semi-final at Hampden
Nick Walsh will take charge of his first national semi-final after being appointed to referee the last four encounter at the national stadium on Saturday.
The whistler’s most recent involvement with Hibs came in the 1-1 draw at Celtic Park on Monday, January 11.

Hide AdIn total he has refereed the Easter Road side 17 times, with Hibs winning eight, drawing five and losing four.
In 16 matches this season Walsh has dished out 42 yellow cards, four reds and awarded seven penalties.
He will be assisted by Calum Spence and John McCrossan, with Colin Steven appointed as fourth official.
The officials will be aided by goalline technology in what will be the first time Hawkeye has been used in an SPFL fixture after being successfully trialled in last month’s Scottish Cup final.
