According to the Scottish Sun, the Easter Road side face competition from Scottish Cup final opponents St Johnstone and English Championship side Millwall – who had a bid for Ryan Porteous knocked back in January.

McMann is under contract in Lanarkshire for another two seasons so a transfer fee would be required, though he should be available at a fair price after Accies’ relegation from the top flight this season.

The suggestion is McMann is looked upon as a potential long-term replacement for Josh Doig. The 18-year-old, who was named SWFA Young Player of the Year, has been linked with a move away from the Capital this summer.

McMann already has over 200 appearances at the age of 24 having come through the youth ranks at Hamilton. This season he was the only non-Old Firm full-back to register at least one shot assist per game in the top flight.
