Watch Hibs loanee Stevie Mallan score on debut for Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor
The midfielder joined Yeni Malatyaspor on transfer deadline day on an initial six-month loan with an option to buy.
Playing in the No.10 role, he was thrown into the starting XI for the trip to Goztepe and tied the scores with five minutes remaining in the first half.

Hide AdLatching on to a lay-off from striker Benjamin Tetteh, Mallan struck a ferocious low shot at goal. His effort was initially saved by goalkeeper İrfan Can Eğribayat but Mallan was alert to the loose ball, racing onto it before any of the Goztepe defenders and sticking it in the back of the net.
It’s the ex-St Mirren playmaker’s fifth goal of the 2020/21 campaign, though it’s his first strike from open play in a league match since an October 2019 goal against Hamilton Accies.
