What Jack Ross had to say about Kyle Magennis' Hibs return

Jack Ross was pleased to hand Kyle Magennis his first start since December after the midfielder’s “stop-start” beginning to his Hibs career.

Kyle Magennis played 67 minutes for Hibs against Stranraer.

The 22-year-old joined Hibs in October, but most of his 17 appearances have come off the bench.

He has suffered niggling injuries and then Covid-19, but he played 67 minutes in the 4-0 win over Stranraer on Sunday.

"Kyle has had a stop-start season because of injuries and Covid,” said Ross, “but he works incredibly hard and it's now an opportunity to get games for him.”
