The Tynecastle side are prioritising a centre-back and creative midfielder with talks already held with targets.
Meanwhile, over at Easter Road, it is about building on last season’s third place finish.
Daniel Mackay has already been signed with centre-back and striker areas likely considered in the target list already drawn up.

Perhaps just as important as who the club sign is who they will hold on to.
Martin Boyle, Kevin Nisbet, Ryan Porteous and Josh Doig are all likely to attract interest this summer.
It was reported by Goal.com that Arsenal are keen on the latter, although Hibs have slapped a £5million price tag on the teenager and will want a sizeable sell-on clause.
