Ryan Porteous stepped up to take the decisive spot-kick after Steven Lawless and Mark O’Hara missed. Kevin Nisbet had the chance to end it two penalties sooner but had his attempt saved.

Hibs are the first team in the second final. They’ll be joined by either Aberdeen or Dundee United, Rangers or St Johnstone and Kilmarnock or St Mirren.

The latter of those ties will be played on Monday evening and the draw is scheduled to take place after full-time. This will be either around 9.30pm or 10.15pm, depending on whether there’s extra-time and penalties.

It will be screened live on BBC Scotland.
