Matt Quinn said: "Hibs passing up a chance to catapult themselves into title contention has ruined my Saturday. Champions League hopes still alive though."

Scott Duncan tweeted: "Take a positive slant. Hibs played excellent today, again created a lot of chances, came up against one of the best 'keeper performances at ER in years, 12 points clear for a European place, next three home games St Mirren, Ross County, and Livingston."

Liam Ballantyne asked: "When will Hibs sort their home form? Season after season draw after draw in games that should be out of sight."

Francisco Patrick wrote: "Typical Hibs. Always so many times we blow it in last few minutes. I would love to sign that United goalkeeper."

Mikey Bryce said: "Hibs could and should have had that game done and dusted by half time."

Ewan Gibbs pointed out: "That’s the second time in a few weeks Hibs have chucked a lead at home in stoppage time. There’s a lack of consistency and resolve showing there that comes out most at big games or crucial moments."

Mark Osborne was staying optimistic: "Feels like a defeat! Good to see us playing well again though onwards and upwards."
