Lining his team up in a 3-5-2 formation, Alex McLeish made just one change in the second half as the Hibees roared to a 6-2 victory over their greatest rivals – their biggest win in the Edinburgh derby since the 7-0 game on New Year’s day in 1973.

1. Nick Colgan

2. Stuart Lovell

Reliable defender spent six seasons at Hibs before winding down career with stints at Cowdenbeath and Dundee. Had spells in coaching and in the fire brigade and was a Hibs season-ticket holder Photo: SNS Group
4. Franck Sauzee
"Le God" loved a derby win and although he didn't find the net in this one, strolled through it as per. Had short spell as Hibs boss before returning to his homeland and working in the restaurant business before joining broadcaster Canal +. Still works as a football commentator and pundit.
