What Grant Scott said after Dryburgh win
After Hibs done what they had to do against their second tier opponents, manager Grant Scott said: “the key factor was getting through to the next round. Especially considering the conditions and the amount of players we were missing today.
“We were a wee bit wasteful at times but that was credit to Dryburgh, I thought they defended really, really well and their goalkeeper had a good game. But look we’ve scored a good few goals, with multiple goal scorers so we’ll take it and move on.
“I don’t want to say we should’ve scored more as that can be a bit disrespectful to your opponent, but I did think we were wasteful in the final third. We had several more clear-cut chances than the final score shows and one or two players were a bit wasteful in key moments, but we’ll look at them back and learn from them.”
