Aaron Hickey is not the only young Scottish footballer flourishing in Europe

Left back follows in the footsteps of fellow countrymen in pursuing a career on the continent

Aaron Hickey made an impressive Serie A debut for Bologna against Parma and now joins a small, but growing, band of Scots footballers who are currently plying their trade in Europe.

At 18, the former Hearts left back has followed in the footsteps of several teenage countrymen who have upped sticks at a young age in order to pursue a career on the continent.
