Edinburgh City Scottish Cup tie at Airdrieonians moved to Sunday

Edinburgh City's Scottish Cup clash with Airdrieonians has been moved.

With concerns surrounding the weather, the second round fixture will now take place on Sunday rather than tomorrow (Saturday).

The match at the Penny Cars Stadium, which is an artificial surface, will kick-off at 1pm.

The original fixture was scheduled for a 3pm kick-off on Saturday but with recent snowfall and predicted overnight temperatures a precaution has been taken.

This morning, the Scottish FA confirmed a host of pitch inspections planned today and tomorrow.
