Manager David Martindale is awaiting confirmation of a loan deal for an unnamed foreign player.

He said: "I'm trying to get one in the door, it's ongoing. We have done all the paperwork so are just waiting for the FIFA confirmation coming through and the club cancelling their agreement and then we can announce it. I don't want to say who it is just now in case it falls through.

"We haven't had any calls about our players."

Livingston have already recruited in the transfer window – and seen players depart.

German striking project Lars Lokotsch left the club after a short-term loan at Raith Rovers. He’s headed back to the lower leagues in his homeland and been replaced by former Queen of the South and Hearts striker Gavin Reilly in West Lothian.

The Lions have also recruited Irish winger Jaze Kabia and brought Jackson Longridge back to the club from Bradford City.
