Ryan Gauld shows off incredible technique with terrific cross against Champions League hopefuls
Ryan Gauld continued his excellent form in the top flight of Portuguese football with an assist in Farense’s heartbreaking late defeat to Braga on Monday evening.

The former Dundee United man swung in a tantalising deep corner that was turned home by team-mate Pedro Henrique just five minutes after the hosts had fallen behind.
However, it was a pass later in the match that had everyone talking. Out on the right flank, the midfielder saw Henrique making a late run into the penalty box and decided to cut across the ball with his left foot, sending it swerving into the box like a shot as it sailed right onto the Brazilian attacker’s forehead.

Gauld, however, was rewarded with the man-of-the-match award – his seventh of the season.
