Who are Lewis Kidd and James Hilton - Edinburgh City's two newest signings?

Kidd, 26, comes with a wealth of experience from the Scottish Championship with two stints at Queen of the South bracketing a three-year spell at Falkirk.
It was at Palmerston where he made his biggest impact, being a regular member of the starting XI, often at right back, in the Queens side which finished fourth in a 2014/15 second tier campaign that featured Hearts, Hibs and Rangers. Indeed, Kidd was in the line-up at Ibrox as James Fowler’s side fell short in their bid to advance to the next round of the play-offs, losing out 3-2 on aggregate.

He joins Hilton who was signed earlier on Friday. The attacker makes the switch from fellow League Two side Stranraer, with whom he spent the last two seasons.
The 23-year-old was top goalscorer for the Blues in the 2019/20 campaign when they were harshly relegated to the bottom tier following the early conclusion of the season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
His scoring touch dropped from seven to just three this past season, though he’s another player who arrives with excellent versatility. Primary seen as a right-winger, he can also operate up front, in the No.10 position or on the left.
