Both teams had just one league win going into this game, but Bathgate cruised to victory. Reece Boyle put them in front on 13 minutes then, just two minutes before the break, Hassan Nyang doubled their lead with a low angled drive from the right just outside the box. Hi Hi’s keeper Sinclair Inglis was injured four minutes after the restart, just as Bathgate went three up with a scrambled effort from Darren MacIsaac, and replacement Liam Amos conceded the fourth just before the hour, Robbie Feeney the scorer. Haddington’s Dean Woods claimed the best goal of the game minutes later but it was of little consolation as Feeney and substitute Liam Healy scored for the hosts.

Bathgate: Watson, MacDonald, Clark, Bonnar, MacIsaac, Taylor, Griffin, Nyang, Feeney, Dalrymple, Boyle. Subs: Minnock, Harris, McIntosh, Healy, Kelly.

Haddington: Inglis, Bauld, Morgan, Kidd, Ingram, Chapman, Berry, Cairney, Woods, Moffat, Robertson. Subs: Jones, Wright, McGrath, Wojtowycz, Amos (SG).

Tayport 2

Dalkeith Thistle 1

Tayport won thanks to a double from Allan Tulleth with a goal either side of half time. He opened the scoring midway through the first half knocking the ball home at the back post. Tyron McLean equalised with a terrific strike to take the teams in level at the break. Tulleth scored the winner, though, with ten minutes to go.
