Kirsty’s call

It IS first against second this weekend in the Scottish Women’s Premier League and Hibernian Ladies midfielder Kirsty McLaughlin admits her team will have to be at their best to take anything from their travels along the M8.

The Easter Road girls take on Glasgow City tomorrow at Petershill Park, Glasgow (kick-off 2pm) knowing they cannot afford to slip to a fourth defeat of the campaign if they wish to wrestle the title away from the champions’ vice-like grip.

“City are a very organised and disciplined team with quality in every position as everyone knows given what they have achieved over the years,” 
commented the diminutive midfielder.

Elsewhere, Spartans travel north to face in-form Forfar.
