Striker Conor Kelly fired the hosts ahead after nine minutes, although Camelon pulled level after 24 minutes through Ross Tierney.

This visitors were level for less than a minute, however, as midfielder Blair Batchelor put Rose back in front with his first of two goals.

A Tommy Coyne penalty just a minute after that gave David McGlynn’s men a two-goal advantage at the break.

Their lead was reduced once again though after a mistake from goalkeeper Michael McKinven made it 3-2, but an Andy Shirra strike and another goal from former Camelon man Batchelor secured all three points for Rose who are now just a point behind third-place Kelty Hearts.
