Holt was given a goal celebration makeover in December last year by Hibs’ main sponsor Marathonbet whereby the fans voted for “The Incredible Holt” out of three celebrations on social media.

The 35-year-old former Norwich hitman had not scored for the Easter Road club since October 29 against St Mirren, but he picked the perfect time to end his drought with a cute finish past Hearts goalkeeper Jack Hamilton to make it 2-0. Hibs went on to win the Scottish Cup replay 3-1 and will now face Ayr in the quarter-finals.

Marathonbet will now donate £500 to the foundation every time the striker scores for Hibs again this season.
