Nottingham Forest bid for Livingston starlet Matthew Knox

The English Championship outfit have submitted an offer which is now being considered by the West Lothian club’s board.
The 16-year-old striker made his Livi debut in the 4-1 victory at St Mirren on Boxing Day. He also came on as a substitute in the 1-0 Scottish Cup defeat to Morton earlier this month.

“We’ve had a couple of bids for him,” Livingston manager David Hopkin revealed. “The board are looking at Forest’s offer at this moment in time but I think he can go higher. I know Dougie [Freedman] well and I’ve told him what Matthew’s got to offer, but we need to make sure it’s right for everyone.
“Swansea and QPR have also shown their interest. If he doesn’t go anywhere then we’ll be delighted to have him.”
