Saints boss looks back on progress
McInnes confirmed he would hold talks with Bristol City over their managerial vacancy after St Johnstone gave him permission to speak to the npower Championship side.
The former Rangers and West Brom midfielder took over from Owen Coyle four years ago, quickly leading the club to Challenge Cup success followed by promotion in his first full season.

Hide AdSaturday’s win, courtesy of goals from Francisco Sandaza and Dave Mackay, moved Saints one point behind Celtic and provided further evidence they can mount a strong top-six challenge.
McInnes, who was reluctant to speak about leaving McDiarmid Park, said: “Since we came in a few seasons ago fourth bottom of the First Division, everything is better about the club.
“The playing staff is better, the training facilities are better, everything is better.
“With a bit of belief, I think we can do very well this season.”
