Fans of virtually every Scottish Premiership club will feel as if luck doesn’t go their way when it comes to penalties, with an understandable bias always kicking in during the debates. Decisions will always go against clubs but it’s easy to feel as if they go against your club more than others.
The introduction of VAR in 2022 was hoped to end all controversial decisions but it seems to have only magnified the weekly debate. And fans continue to feel hard done by regardless, with less leeway when officials get it wrong.
