Hide AdFormer Hibs assistant Adams, however, was in relatively upbeat mood after the 2-1 William Hill Scottish Cup defeat by Inverness on Tuesday as he aimed to take their tally to 20 points. He said then: “If we can reach the 20-point mark then it will have been a great start for us in the SPL.
“If we can get to that tally then we’ll match where Aberdeen were at this point last season. We’ve got the third best defensive record at home in the SPL. Now, we’ve got to look to add to that by scoring goals.
“We’ve only lost eight goals at home, where we’ve been very good.”
