Strollers have another cup clash with Lowland League East Kilbride on Wednesday in the semi-final of The Football Nation Qualifying Cup, and then five matches in the space of 14 days.

“It’s a hectic period for us with all the postponements we’ve had, but we just have to get our games on and do our best. We have the Under-20 squad to supplement us and although it’s hard to keep everyone happy in a squad, we’ve had big numbers at training and you need a big squad at times like this,” said manager Alex Cunningham.

Strollers will be missing striker Kyle Boggie for tomorrow’s match, although Cunningham has re-signed midfielder Jack Downie ahead of tomorrow’s clash.

“The players are raring to go for tomorrow and it’s an interesting game because Tynecastle are playing really well at the moment.”

Tynecastle manager Steve Vinter is looking for his side to raise their game ahead of the match with Civil despite last weekend’s 3-1 league win over Duns.

“Our performance was a little below par last weekend, our build up play was decent but we huffed and puffed for long periods and we’ll have to be at our best this weekend,” said Vinter who has signed goalkeeper Craig Coburn on loan from Berwick Rangers for the rest of the season.
