Dundee United are set to rake in around £3 million from the transfer of Harry Souttar to Leicester City. The Premier League club have agreed a fee of £15m plus £5m in add-ons with Stoke to sign Australia defender.
Souttar will now have a medical at the Foxes, who have been monitoring his situation for several weeks. Born in Aberdeen, Souttar began his career at Celtic before moving to Dundee United and then joining Stoke in 2016.
Should the deal go through, United are set to benefit from a significant sell-on clause, reported to to be in the region of £3m.
Ross County are reportedly hoping to complete the signing of a new striker within the next hour ahead of tonight’s match against Hibs at Dingwall.
Rumour has its for Hibs striker and current Queen’s Park captain Simon Murray, who has scored 15 goals for the Championship leaders this season.
Murray spent one season at Hibs back in 2017–2018.
Dundee United striker Tony Watt is currently undergoing a medical at St Mirren. The Paisley club are hoping to complete that deal before midnight.
Stephen Robinson says Ethan Erhahon will be a “huge loss” to St Mirren as the 21-year-old midfielder prepares to join Lincoln City, who are currently 16th in England’s League One.
“He has arguably been one of my best players all season,” said manager Robinson. “But opportunities arise, Ethan was out of contract at the end of the season and it was good business on behalf of the club.”
Erhahon is a Scotland Under-21 international but his St Mirren contract was due to expire this summer.
