Whitehill defeated by Dalbeattie; Tynecastle thrash Burntisland

Hide AdJamie McHarrie nearly had the hosts in front as early as the ninth minute but Stevie Manson’s intervention kept the visitors’ goal intact.
Goalkeeper Bryan Young then produced a wonderful save to deny Ian Anderson midway through the first half but it was the same player who edged Dalbeattie in front three minutes before the interval with a neat finish.
Anderson netted his second of the evening ten minutes after the restart when he rounded Young to score from the angle.

Hide AdMichael Osborne had a couple of half chances as David Bingham’s men went in search of reducing the deficit but they were unable to mount any sort of comeback.
Meanwhile, East of Scotland side Tynecastle were comfortable 4-0 winners over bottom club Burntisland Shipyard at Saughton Enclosure.
Dean Crabbe scored a hat-trick with Ryan Ferguson also on the scoresheet for Tynie.
