Golf: Kilspindie progress in Winter Cup
Making home advantage count, Kilspindie won two games that went to extra holes to record a 3-2 victory. The veteran pairing of Bob Humble and John Hall emerged as the heroes, the latter holing a tricky downhill putt for a winning birdie on the 23rd.
Dunbar’s miserable recent form continued with a 4-1 defeat at Castle Park, but Craigielaw were untroubled by their trip to Musselburgh Old, whilst North Berwick, Gullane and Royal Musselburgh all progressed against Second Division opponents.
