Gregor Graham and Megan Docherty win Stephen Gallacher events
Both played at Macdonald Cardrona, near Peebles, Blairgowrie's Gregor Graham lifted the boys' trophy while Megan Docherty from Bishopbriggs is the new holder of the girls' vase.
Graham, who played in last year's Scottish Amateur at Crail with his dad and younger brother, trailed clubmate Cormac Sharpe by three shots after an opening 73.

Hide AdBut, after adding an impressive three-under-par 69 in the second circuit at the demanding Borders venue, he claimed a two-shot victory over Sharpe, Rothesay's Lachlan Reynolds and Calum Scott from Nairn.
Scott was bidding to follow in the footsteps of his older brother, Sandy, who won this event in 2015 at the same venue.
Sharpe's effort saw him finish as the leading under-16 player, four shots ahead of Ayr Bellisle's Ruben Lindsay, earning him the Bobby Johnston Trophy.
On a course measuring over 6,000 yards for the girls, Docherty also came from behind to secure her victory, following a first-round 80 with a 75.

Hide AdThat saw her finish a shot ahead of North Berwick's Grace Crawford (79-77), with Royal Troon's Freya Russell (80-80) third on 160.
The events marked the start of a new Winter Junior Series in Scotland involving the Stephen Gallacher Foundation, Paul Lawrie Foundation, Barrie Douglas Foundation and Junior Tour Scotland.The next event is at Graham's home course, Blairgowrie, on 25 October before the circuit moves to Fortrose & Rosemarkie on 15 November.
