Ramage’s score of 12.550 on floor also secured her place in the individual floor apparatus finals and in spite of a four hour wait between her warm-up and taking to the floor she gave a bold and artistic performance, scoring 13.150 to earn the silver medal behind Lizzie Beddoe of Wales.

Cara Kennedy (13) from Glasgow also won a bronze medal at the meet.

2014 women’s artistic Scotland national coach Rod Smith said: “We took a young and relatively inexperienced team to this competition and the fact that we came back with two medals was a significant achievement.”
