Hill on the rise

TANTALLON’S Calum Hill, a member of the Merchiston Golf Academy, has earned praise from coach Alan Murdoch after a strong finish to the year.

In his last four events, Hill has finished second in the Faldo Series, won on the Junior Tour at Blairgowrie, was first in an SGU Academy event at Muckhart and won the ISGA Scottish Open.

“Calum has been playing fantastic golf over the last two months and is about to be awarded a scholarship in America,” said Kings Acre-based Murdoch.
