Hockey: Big weekend for Edinburgh University women

Edinburgh University women face two real tests this weekend as they bid to retain their Division One hockey title.

The students take on city rivals Watsonians tomorrow (2.30pm) at Peffermill, then host MJV Dundee Wanderers – behind leaders University in the table on goal difference – on Sunday (2.30pm).

Meanwhile, in the men’s Division One, third-placed Grange entertain Western, who are fourth, at Fettes (2pm). Edinburgh University, fresh from their success in winning the Premier B North title in the British Universities and Colleges Sport league, host Uddingston Riva tomorrow (4pm).
