Hockey: Watsonians eye CALA clash

WATSONIANS can relax when they entertain Uddingston at Mary Erskine School in their final Division Two hockey game tomorrow, writes NIGEL DUNCAN.

Their focus now is on May 6 at Peffermill, where they clash head-on with near neighbours CALA Edinburgh for the right to play in Division One next season.

Watsonians defender Alasdair Swan said: “We’re the form team in the division right now. We’ve secured a promotion play-off against CALA Edinburgh, which is what we’ve been aiming for, and our concentration is on preparing the team for that.”
