Josh Taylor faces test against former IBF contender
The 2014 Commonwealth Games gold medallist faces the toughest test of his pro-career since teaming up with boxing legend and Cyclone promoter, Barry McGuigan, last summer.
Taylor, 25, has registered three knock-outs since switching to the paid ranks but will face a step up in opposition when the duo meet at the Manchester Arena two weeks on Saturday.

It’s a good step up in class for me to the opposition I’ve boxed previously but I believe I can win the fight and will win the fight.
“I would like to get some more rounds under my belt and gain more experience in the ring and learn the craft a bit more. But I believe what Barry and Shane [McGuigan] have planned out for me and in my own ability.”
