Liberton’s resurgence gathers pace

Liberton won their second match in seven days and their second of the whole season on Saturday.

Their 25-7 home win over RDVC saw them jump above Walkerburn at the bottom of RBS East Three after the Borderers failed to put out a side for their proposed match at Leith.

The victory follows on from Liberton’s 30-27 triumph over Inverleith in the RBS East Regional Bowl last week and they will be keen to keep this good form going.

There were no other matches in RBS East One, Two or Three on Saturday, while the local Shield resumes this coming weekend.
