Lothians held

LOTHIANS continued their preparations for this season’s Scottish Area Team Championship with a hard-fought  5-5 draw with Stirlingshire at Glenbervie.

Graham Robertson, (Silverknowes), Anthony Blaney (Liberton), Calum Hill (Tantallon) and Gary Corrigan (Greeburn) all won for the visitors with Benn McLeod (Musselburgh) and Ross Noon (Craigielaw) both earning half points.

“Early on it looked fairly easy for us, but Stirling’s rear proved very strong and a draw was a fair result,” said Lothians selection convenor Paul Gibson.
